This 1954 Chevrolet Corvette is the 1,085th of 3,640 examples produced for the model year. It is finished in white over red vinyl and is powered by a 235ci “Blue Flame” inline-six paired with a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. Features include 15” red-finished steel wheels with faux knock-off spinners, a curved windshield, wire mesh headlight guards, an AM radio, a heater, and a dash-mounted rear-view mirror. This C1 Corvette was acquired by the current owner in 2020 and is now offered on dealer consignment with partial service records, clip-on side curtains, and a clean Ohio title.
The car is finished in white and has a curved windshield, wire mesh headlight guards, a chrome grille, a driver-side rearview mirror, directional signals, a three-piece rear bumper, and dual exhaust outlets exiting through the rear valance. Clip-on side curtains with Plexiglass windows are included in the sale, but there is no top.
Red-finished 15” steel wheels feature polished covers with faux knock-off spinners and are mounted with 6.70-15 Bf Goodrich tires. The C1 was equipped from the factory with an independent front suspension, front and rear hydraulic shocks, and a live rear axle with semi-elliptical leaf springs. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drum brakes.
The bucket seats are faired into the rear bodywork and are trimmed in red vinyl, and they are complemented by a color-coordinated dash pad and door panels. Interior appointments include a dash-mounted rear-view mirror, an AM radio, an analog clock, a heater, a floor-mounted shifter, and polished door sills. There is a tear in the driver’s seat.
The two-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and fronts a 140-mph speedometer, which was rebuilt in 2023. A central 5k-rpm tachometer is flanked by gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, amperage, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 69k miles, approximately 250 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 235ci “Blue Flame” inline-six was factory equipped with three Carter YH side-draft carburetors. The carburetors were rebuilt, and the intake manifold gasket and the spark plugs were replaced in 2023.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission.
