Industrial noise-rock agitators HEALTH have confirmed details of their next full-length album, CONFLICT DLC, set to arrive December 11th via Loma Vista Recordings. The 12-track release has been introduced with its blistering opening cut, “ORDINARY LOSS.”
Singer/guitarist Jake Duzsik offered a typically bleak reflection alongside the announcement: “No, it’s not just your imagination. The future is shit and the phone you are reading this on is making it worse, but please don’t put it down. We are delighted to announce 12 new tracks of anger, fear, sadness and death, and to beg for yet more of your addled attention.”
The album was produced by STINT and mixed by Drew Fulk, whose previous credits include Disturbed and Knocked Loose. If “ORDINARY LOSS” is any indication, CONFLICT DLC will once again deliver the band’s signature collision of industrial menace, metallic heft, and apocalyptic mood. This song is a banger, and pre-orders are available right here.
CONFLICT DLC follows 2023’s collaborative-heavy RAT WARS, which featured appearances from Nine Inch Nails, Lamb of God‘s Willie Adler, and more, and solidified HEALTH as one of the most uncompromising forces in modern heavy music.
