The Alachua County Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Highway Patrol responded July 23 to a fatal crash in the 5000 block of Southwest Archer Road.
The Sheriff’s Office reported the crash via social media just after 7:30 a.m.
Westbound Archer Road near the crash, which occurred near the Plaza Health and Rehab Center, was still being rerouted east as of about 9:30 a.m. Eastbound traffic was running smoothly.
